*Results may vary depending on skin type, pigment depth, distribution, and lifestyle factors.
In simple terms,
ABNOM may look like ordinary pigmentation on the surface, but it is not exactly the same type of pigment.
Even when it appears similar to freckles or common dark spots,
it often presents as a mixture of gray-brown or blue-brown tones spread across the cheekbone area.
Because the characteristics of the deeper skin layers also need to be considered,
the treatment plan is usually designed a little differently.
That is why, in cases like this,
rather than treating aggressively all at once,
it is often more realistic to follow the process of
diagnosis → setting the energy level and interval → checking progress and adjusting as needed.
When looking at before-and-after photos,
it is also important not to focus only on whether it has “completely disappeared.”
It is better to evaluate how much the overall tone has lightened,
how much the borders have softened,
and how evenly both cheeks have improved.
Post-treatment care does not have to be overly complicated.
For about 1 to 2 weeks after treatment,
it is better to pause potentially irritating home-care products such as scrubs, peeling pads, high-concentration AHA/BHA products, and retinol,
and instead focus on consistent moisturization and sun protection
to help keep the recovery process stable.
*After treatment, temporary redness, warmth, dryness, flaking, scabbing, or a short-term darkening of the pigment may occur. Recovery speed and skin response can vary depending on individual skin condition. If symptoms are severe or persist longer than expected, an in-person evaluation is recommended.
