※ Even for the same person, progress can vary depending on skin condition, pigment type, UV exposure, and lifestyle habits.

Toning only? Spot only? A “combination plan” is usually more realistic.

Dark spots are rarely just one thing. Many cases include both:

a “background tone” that looks like a diffuse veil across the skin, and
pinpoint “focal spots” that sit like darker dots.

So treatment is often planned like this: refine the overall tone with toning, then add spot treatment for any remaining dot-like pigment—adjusting step by step for a more even result.

Aftercare — I’ll keep it short. Just these 3 points.

Pause harsh exfoliation for about 1–2 weeks (scrubs, peeling pads, high-strength AHA/BHA, retinol)
Stay consistent with moisturizing + sun protection (pigmentation is UV-sensitive)
If scabs or peeling appear, do not pick or peel them off

※ After treatment, temporary redness, stinging, dryness, flaking, and swelling may occur. If spot treatment is included, scabbing or temporary darkening (PIH) can also appear. If symptoms are severe, or if blisters, oozing, or persistent/worsening pain occurs, an in-clinic check is recommended.
