※ Even for the same person, progress can vary depending on skin condition, pigment type, and lifestyle habits.
Toning only? Spot only? Most plans are adjusted as a “combination.”
Many pigmentation concerns include both:
a “background tone” that looks like an overall veil (dullness + fine diffuse pigment), and
pinpoint “spots” that sit like darker dots.
That’s why treatment is often designed like this: refine the overall tone first with toning, then add spot treatment for any remaining dot-like pigment — adjusting step by step for a more even, natural finish.
Aftercare — this is all you really need to remember
For about 1–2 weeks after treatment, pause harsh exfoliation, such as scrubs, peeling pads, high-strength AHA/BHA, and retinol.
Instead, stay consistent with moisturizing + sun protection — this alone can make recovery much more stable.
If scabs or peeling appear, don’t pick or peel them off.
※ After treatment, temporary redness, stinging, dryness, flaking, and swelling may occur. If spot treatment is included, scabbing or temporary darkening (PIH) can also appear. If symptoms are severe, or if blisters, oozing, or persistent/worsening pain occurs, an in-clinic check is recommended.
